The Life Regenera project reduces nitrates by 40% in the Limia riverbed

The pilot project Life Regenera Limia, promoted between several public and private entities to reduce the impact of agricultural activity in the river Limia, closed yesterday a cycle with the presentation of some of the conclusions and analysis of results resulting from the work of the last five years.

The seminar, which took place in the Casa de la Cultura in Xinzo, was attended by specialised technicians such as the project coordinator himself and deputy commissioner of the Confederación Hidrográfica del Miño Sil, Alberto de Anta, or the head of the Centro Agroganadero de Xinzo -Inorde-, Servando Álvarez. Luis Felipe Fernández, from Ecolagunas, and Diego Fompedriñas and José Antonio Vázquez, from the Confederation and the Xunta de Galicia, respectively, also took part in the technical exhibitions.
