The LIFE Regenera Limia Project has reduced by “40%” the supply of mineral fertilizer in this area and has achieved a decrease in the pollution of the Limia River, in which “work has been done to rehabilitate” its old riverbed.
The Confederación Hidrográfica del Miño-Sil (CHMS), an autonomous body under the Ministry for Ecological Transition, as explained by the Ministry in a statement, has taken stock of the project, whose main objective is “to reconcile agricultural and livestock activity with the good condition of the water bodies of the region.
